Sundeep Waslekar is a thought leader on global future. He has worked with more than 70 countries, the United Nations and the European Council under the auspices of the Strategic Foresight Group, an international think tank he co-founded in 2002.
He is the author of A World without War published by HarperCollins India (2022) and published in French as Entre Guerre et Paix by CNRS Editions (2023), in Spanish as Un mundo sin guerra by Nola Editores (2025), and in Marathi as Yudhha Nakarnare Jag by Rajhans Prakashan (2025). He is the author of Eka Dishecha Shodh, a bestselling book in his native Marathi language, with 25 editions and translations in Hindi and Urdu.
He is a practitioner of Track Two diplomacy since the 1990s. He has mediated in geo-political conflicts in South Asia, those between Western and Islamic countries on deconstructing terror, trans-boundary water conflicts in Africa and the Middle East, and nuclear risk reduction between the five permanent members of the UN Security Council. Since the beginning of 2025, he is involved in Track Two processes to shape global extreme AI risks governance.
He was invited to address the United Nations Security Council session 7818 on water, peace, and security. His policy concepts have been discussed in the UN Alliance of Civilisations, World Economic Forum at Davos, Quai d’Orsay, European Parliament, Indian Parliament, UK House of Commons and House of Lords. He has been quoted in more than 3,000 media articles from eighty countries.
Waslekar read Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at Oxford University from 1981 to 1983. He was conferred D. Litt. (Honoris Causa) of Symbiosis International University by the President of India in 2011.

Ilmas Futehally is Co-founder and Executive Director of the Strategic Foresight Group, an international think tank based in Mumbai that has worked with 71 countries. She has been instrumental in launching initiatives in parallel diplomacy for nuclear risk reduction between five permanent members of the UN Security Council, resolution of transboundary water conflicts in Asia, Africa and the Middle East and building trust between West and Islamic countries. She also led research projects to measure the cost of protracted conflicts in different parts of the world.
She is an Advisory Board member of the Brazzaville Foundation and The Concord Foundation, both involved in international conflict resolution.
Before founding the Strategic Foresight Group, Ilmas was Assistant Director of the International Centre for Peace Initiatives (1995-2002), where she was engaged in conflict resolution in South Asia. She has been a non-residential fellow at the Carnegie Council for Ethics and International Affairs New York (2001-2002), and a Visiting Fellow in regional security at the Henry L. Stimson Center in Washington, DC (1998). She obtained her MSc Degree from the University of Bombay. Ilmas is an amateur artist and works with oils.

Shrikant Menjoge is one the founders of Strategic Foresight Group. He is responsible for policies on internal governance, administration and finance. He holds a degree in science and law from the university of Mumbai. He has been associated with the banking industry in India and has been a Director on the Board of the United Bank of India, one of the largest banks owned by the Government of India.
He has a background in conflict resolution and has been involved in developmental work including making documentaries. He represents SFG at various international conferences in Europe, Turkey and the United States.
