Parita is a Research Analyst with SFG, and works on water diplomacy as an instrument of peace and cooperation in the Middle East.
Prior to SFG, Parita worked with the United States Government in Washington, DC on a health policy grant that focused on transforming medical education in sub-Saharan Africa through capacity building, retention, and regionally relevant research.
Parita holds a BA LLB from the Government Law College in Mumbai and an MA in International Affairs from The George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs in Washington, DC.
While at graduate school, she pursued a dual concentration in International Development and Global Health. For her capstone consultancy, she was part of a group that secured funding to conduct field research on women's leadership in Brazil, and produced a policy document on the same.
Parita has also interned with the Pan American Health Organization, Ashoka, Ketchum, and the International Center for Research on Women while in Washington, DC.
